Quality Custom Made Longbows

Welcome to Bamboo Longbows.co.uk.
I am Alan Fleming and I have been making longbows for over
16 years -the last 11 years almost exclusively from Tonkin and Mosso Bamboo, which I have found to have superb shooting qualities: giving a bow of slender section with excellent cast.
For example:
My 54 lbs at 28" bow gives a point of aim on the boss at 100 yds!
A ladies Tonkin bow of 33 lbs at 26" gave a point of aim on the boss at
80 yds. This bow also recently outshot the Gents' Clout distance (180 yds), shooting approx. 210 yds.:
*My bows fulfil the requirements for Longbows of BLBS and GNAS.
**Bows can be supplied with some timber in the construction to comply with NFAS rules.
